La Bergerie is one two houses that are situated a lovely hamlet 12 km south of the town of Sens in the province of Yonne (Northern Burgundy). Once a simple barn, it was renovated (badly) in the 80's but today is in need of TLC. My aim in this blog is to share with you all the process of renovation; the triumphs as well as the mistakes of such project. Ultimately (sometime in 09 - it remains a bit of mistery), I want to open the doors of La Bergerie to those who are looking for peace and quiet in this little known but truly enchanting part of France.

INTRODUCTION/Renovation of La Bergerie
